Riya Patel is a Grade 11 student at Ahmedabad International School, where she is pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme with a focus on Mathematics, Economics, and Visual Arts. Passionate about beauty, branding, and social equity, Riya brings a unique blend of artistic talent and business acumen to her work.

As the founder of The Indian Cosmetology Alliance (TICA), Riya has combined her training in professional makeup artistry and her interest in inclusive entrepreneurship to develop an initiative that empowers women through beauty education. She is currently authoring a mentored research paper on inclusive brand image in the beauty industry, under the guidance of a marketing professor at T A Pai Management Institute.

Riya’s journey in makeup began in 2021 and includes advanced training at Ulupi Salon and Bobbi Brown’s Masterclass. She also showcases her work on her portfolio account, @rrougebeauty. Beyond makeup, she is a trained classical ballet dancer, visual artist, and basketball player. Her multidisciplinary background informs her belief that beauty is not merely aesthetic—but transformational.
